Indian Magic is a segment in which Piyu teaches us about Indian Magic. Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō is a new segment (as of April of 2021) in which BT recites the Lotus Sutra. "Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō" can be translated, "Devotion to the Mystic Law of the Lotus Sutra" or "Glory to the Dharma of the Lotus Sutra". Either way, as one who has invested more than a few minutes chanting it, I'd like to learn more about the Lotus Sutra. Wouldn't you? There are also segments which have only occurred once: In Your Head, Theoricus Poker, Rainbow Banana-Band Sphere, Traditional Golden Dawn Temples I Didn't Know About Before, GoldenDawnPedia, Cool-Assed Jesuits I Have Known, and This Is The Dawning of the Age Of Aquarius. In the In Your Head segment in Episode 54, BT played Ella Jensen's recital of Lon Milo Duquette's poem the morning after he composed it. The name of the segment is a reference to one of Lon's famous quotes. Lon also appeared as a guest in Episode 38. Though it is not mentioned in the descriptions, you can find his music at the end of Episodes 20, 21, 38, and 60. Theoricus Poker was another segment which was later given its own episode, 41. If you would like to read the old blog post from 2012 in which BT intorduced "Theoricus Poker" to the world, Click Here The Rainbow Banana-Band Sphere was explained in a beginning segment in episode 3. Perhaps it's time to bring that one back around. It's a way of simultaneously grokking astrology and learning Golden Dawn correspondences. The Traditional Golden Dawn Temples I Didn't Know About Before segment is pretty self-explanatory. It was the Colorado Temple, and we interviewed them in Episode 36. GoldenDawnPedia is a segment in which I read definitions of terms from the website goldendawnpedia.com. There was also a segment used once in Episode 44 called Cool-Assed Jesuits I Have Known which, of course, was about Teilhard de Chardin. Finally, the This Is The Dawning of the Age Of Aquarius segment in which BT recites the description of The Star Card from the Philosophus initiation, which he may have to replay later on for Station To Station. So if you haven't yet, today might be the day to start binge-listening to... ![]() VH Frater BT's ![]() If you would like to share this Podcast with your friends, please feel free! Tweet ![]() |
