Back in India! Edward Reib's "Travels" Part 11 Premiered: 12th Dec 2021 Filmed: Nov 2018-Jan 2019 Part 11 opens at the airport in Guangzou, China, on November 18th, 2018. Shortly after, we find ourselves in Kathmandu waiting for our Indian Tourist Visa to be approved, for a long... long time. Then we arrive in Delhi! Piyu and Navi have prepared a cake and balloons to celebrate. Then, we drive up the mountain behind Dehradun to Mussoorie, where we find puppies, and bull and - Look! It's snowing! Feels like Christmas, according to the music. Naturally, we spend some time in the Tibetan Buddhist temple there, Shedup Choephelling. The singing of the Tibetan Nuns was edited in later, but the monkeys were certainly there at the time. Then, we return to New Delhi, where I proceed to open the boxes I'd shipped myself from California in Part 10. With a chai at Dilli Haat we transition into Christmas, and our White Tiger soft toy is "born" (Piyu unwraps him). After New Years', we watch the local Sikh community in Sant Nagar East of Kailash perform sword and staff fighting, and even fire dancing, just outside our window.
